Dan & Pippa’s relaxed village wedding

I'm Steph, a fun little Birmingham wedding photographer. Based in Birmingham, I also can travel from Cardiff and the Wirral for my relaxedwedding photography. So if you're looking for fun wedding photography, get in touch.

Hey folks!

I met Dan & Pippa through my Andrew (yes, I have claimed him, he is mine! haha) As Dan is a fellow engineer. This is how Dan & Pippa met, as they were both engineers. I found this connection helped Dan and Pippa feel more relaxed with me being their photographer.

Dan & Pippa got married at the stunning The Cart Shed, Park Farm in Daventry. This was one of the most charming, rustic farm wedding venue I have had the pleasure to photograph at. The Cart Shed has so much to offer! It's far from a claustrophobic one room wedding venue! You have so much space to use. The main space, The Cart Shed, is a gorgeous rustic space with a light marquee attached, allowing plenty of space for your wedding breakfast and evening reception. Next to this room is the beautiful chilled Lambing Shed, filled with comfy sofas, hay bails, a piano and second bar, the perfect chill out space. In between these spaces is a lovely gravelled courtyard space with fire pit, the perfect space to be cuddled up on a summers evening at your wedding. The bridal suite is the cutest farmers cottage, plenty of room and light for the bride and her squad to get ready!

Dan & Pippa wanted a relaxed celebration with their loved ones, nothing formal, especially when it came to their wedding photography.

Pippa got ready in the beautiful bridal suite. Getting ready with her closest friends and cousins, she was so relaxed and enjoying every moment of getting ready. Pippa & Dan's son Charles had plenty of cuddles with Mom, this was so beautiful to capture. I love documenting the real moments of your morning prep.

Dan & Pippa had the most personal humanist blessing in the Upper Shuckburgh Church, A couple of fields away, up on Goblin Hill. A vintage bus shuttled all the guests and wedding party up to the church. I managed to jump on to photograph Dan on his way to the church. I was not prepared for the lack of suspension on a countryside, rocky road!

Pippa was the most natural, elegant bride I have photographed, Honestly, I cannot recall seeing her without the biggest, happiest smile on her face! It was so contagious and boy, you could see how proud her parents were of her!

The ceremony was perfect! Filled with all the loving and fun stories of Dan & Pippa. This is what your ceremony should be, personal and unique. Share your love story to all your friends and family! An amazing ceremony has to be followed by an epic confetti exit!

We kept the group photos short and sweet (just like me!). I always love to keep these fun, look at whose going to be drunk first... I think we can see who got the majority of looks in the girls!

Dan & Pippa only wanted a handful of couple photos, then a few with their son Charles. We wondered into the gardens behind the bridal suite and created magic in a short time, also making sure there was time to play with Charles!

Dan & Pippa created all the table decor and personal touches around the venue. I love it when my couples have a DIY wedding! It means so much to you and your guests, Especially when you include a game. Dan & Pippa created table centre pieces that all were a clue to a theme, which was wishes. How cute is that?!?

The staff at The Cart Shed were fantastic! The food was amazing! I was lucky to have a vegetarian roast that was the nicest I have ever had! In the Lambing shed they had baskets of homemade shortbread out for everyone, such a good idea for when the drinks are flowing! For the evening, Dan & Pippa had a cheese wheel cake for everyone to tuck into, it was massive and looked so yummy!

When the evening came, Dan & Pippa had a band, YESSSS!!! The atmosphere you get from live music is always the best! They know how to get your guests up on their feet and start dancing the night away! Everyone was up dancing, Pippa's parents were showing everyone how its done!

The Cart Shed at Park Farm is such a beautiful venue. If you're looking for a rustic, barn wedding venue nestled amongst beautiful countryside, then this is the venue for you!

Have a sneak peak at more gorgeous photos from Dan & Pippa's wedding at The Cart Shed, Park Farm.
