I'm a crazy cat momma; 80's obsessed; Tattooed; Nail queen; Leopard print EVERYTHING; Espresso martini drinking little Brummie! But my friends call me Steph.
When I’m not busy travelling the UK to photograph my Butties (yep, my couples are called my Butties, cute I know, when you have a surname like mine you gotta run with it!) weddings, you’ll probably find me in Birmingham, drinking a cocktail & eating yummy veggie food. UPDATE… This was me! I’m now 36, with a never ending project house and a love for being in my bed by 9pm!
I'm a super relaxed person, until someone shows me a cute animal video then I could explode with excitement! Think of Despicable Me’s Agnes & her love of unicorns… that’s me!
I love photographing bad ass creative and fun couples who are planning to have their wedding their way!I fall in love with couples who break the rules and are planning for their wedding to be the best party EVER!!!

Where it all began.
Like most photographers, it started when I was an even smaller Steph. My Nan & Grandad would photograph everything (mainly her cats & their many holidays) and every time I would visit I had to get the albums out and insist my Nan tell me everything that was happening in the photo. I was obsessed! Now my Nan & Grandad aren’t with us anymore, their photos are my most prized possessions. This is what I love about photography. By having those photos, I feel like those moments my nan and grandad captured are still important.
My love for all things creative lead me to college where I specialised in photography. This progressed to uni where I studied Media arts - Photography at Staffs uni and really found my calling for photographing people. After uni I worked for an online clothing brand; then a family portrait studio and eventually set up my own home studio. Nothing felt right until I photographed a friends wedding and BOOM… I knew this is where I wanted to be. Straight away I started this business and 8 years later, i’m still here and loving every crazy minute!

The simple answer, my work is a bit of me and a whole lotta you! I like to photograph nice people have a bloody good time on their wedding day! If you’re fun, good people who have a little flair for all things creative and love a good party, chances are we’re gonna get on!
This little Birmingham wedding photographer can be described as having a relaxed, alternative wedding photography style. I sit in the middle of everything. My work isn’t light and airy nor is it dark and moody. I’m not super high contrast colour, but i’m not muted tones. Couples usually like the colour and fun captured in my photography, which sounds perfect!
Did I mention I love colour and confetti. OMG COLOURFUL CONFETTI!!! Yes I really do get excited about this
I'm laid back and love to have a laugh with my couples, or what I like to call Steph's Butties!!! (Let's face it, when you have a surname like mine, I've got to have an awesome sense of humour) I don't spend hours posing you and your family, these photographs are quick and painless with a tonne of banter! I love the moment we have on your couple portraits, it’s a great little breather for you! I’ll get you to do silly stuff, but trust me, you’ll look amazing in your photos.
My aim is to capture your day honestly, in my relaxed and alternative wedding photography style. I want you to look back and remember real moments, not ones of you stood in a dark field with a fog light shining up your arse!
I’m not just your fun Birmingham wedding photographer, I become your bestie too! Aww, I know, I’m cute, but it’s true! To be able to capture the real moments of your wedding day, you have to see me as more than just a wedding supplier. ⚡️ Eurovision is the best night of the year! Yep, I love Eurovision! 2023 is THE BEST YEAR EVER… don’t even try to argue that!
