The Ashes Barns wedding, Staffordshire - Sarah & Nick’s autumn wedding

Last week the beautiful finally Nick & Sarah got to say I do at The Ashes Barns in Staffordshire. After postponing their wedding due to the dreaded C word, this day has been long awaited and it couldn’t have gone any better for this amazing couple. Sarah & Nick booked me back in 2019. Sarah actually got in touch before booking a wedding venue. I happily helped find some wedding venues for Sarah and Nick to look at. The Ashes Barns, Staffordshire was the first venue they visited and straight away they knew it was the one!

The Ashes Barns wedding venue have a gorgeous space for you to get ready on your wedding. Tucked away at the back of the venue, the dressing room is perfect for you to get ready and your guests not stumble in and get a sneak peak of you. Sarah and her bridal squad were so chilled and relaxed, my 80’s playlist helped out. If ever you need some music, don’t worry, Steph’s got you covered!

Nick & Sarah staying I Do at The Ashes Barns, Staffordshire

Sarah looked so radiant as she walked down the aisle at The Ashes Barns, Staffordshire. The room was filled with happiness and so much emotion for the happy couple. With reading from Sarah’s sister and cousin, the ceremony was perfect for Sarah and Nick. As they walked down the aisle as husband and wife, guests got very eager with they confetti and gave the couple a confetti exit that made for amazing photos.

After Sarah & Nick got to say I do, it was time for one of my favourite photographs…CONFETTI! We headed into the courtyard area of The Ashes Barns and got everyone ready for the confetti throw. I get so excited for this photo, it’s just so much fun and shows the pure joy of the day! As well as capturing beautiful photos of this moment, I love throwing in some funny ones for you too… this was a winner for me!

When Sarah & Nicks dog came and stole the show at The Ashes Barns, Staffordshire

How cute is Sarah & Nick’s dog Izzy? She’s gorgeous isn’t she?! You can totally understand why she stole the show when she arrived! I love it when dogs are allowed on your wedding day and The Ashes Barns is the perfect setting for some beautiful family photos! Your fur babies are just as important as your human family, so capturing these photos for you makes me so excited and happy!

Holy cow! this is how you photo bomb a photo at The Ashes Barns

The Ashes Barns have cows on their land… LOT’S OF AWESOME COWS! So of course I had to get a photo of Sarah & Nick with these gorgeous animals! Luckily Sarah & Nick were totally up for this, my couples are the best! We walked down the drive, capturing the beautiful sunset as we wandered. I love capturing your couple photos in a relaxed way like this.

Sarah & Nick’s first dance at The Ashes Barns Staffordshire

Now for one of my favourite parts of your wedding day, when everyone hits the dance floor! Sarah and Nick had a sweet first dance that they wanted to share with their family and friends. The dance floor at The Ashes Barns filled with happy faces, I was in my element. Sarah requested a very special song dedicated to her mom, Status Quo around the world. Seeing Sarah’s family and friends dance along to this was so emotional, a tear came to my eye.

Sarah & Nick’s wedding at The Ashes Barn was beautiful. The team at The Ashes Barns did such a fantastic job making sure their wedding day went perfectly! Sarah and Nick smiled and laughed with all their nearest and dearest. It was amazing to be part of this gorgeous wedding.
