What a way to be back at blogging!

Becca & Matt’s wedding at 100 Barrington in Brixton was one of the most epic parties I've had the pleasure to photograph!

100 Barrington is definitely one of my fave wedding venues in London, actually… ANYWHERE!

Prepare your jaws to drop at how gorgeous this wedding day was!

Becca had such a relaxing morning with her mom and bridal squad. Luckily, her brother has an awesome apartment with stunning views of London that was near 100 Barrington. When your brother lets you use his apartment to get ready for your wedding day, you know they must actually like each other! haha

Becca looked stunning with a natural bridal look and relaxed up do created by the fabulous Poppy Tallulah. This looked gorgeous with Becca’s two piece wedding outfit by Catherine Deane. I love a two piece as it means you can easily create a second look with a top change, which Becca absolutely nailed with a gorgeous beaded top for the evening! This girl has the most perfect taste!

This is how you do a wedding at 100 Barrington

Becca & Matt decided to do the legal part before their wedding day. I love it when couples do this! Firstly, this means you get to celebrate your wedding over 2 days! So hell yeah to another day to celebrate! Secondly, whether you choose a celebrant or have a friend conduct the ceremony for you, like Becca and Matt did, it means you get to create a fun and personal ceremony. Becca & Matt had reading from their friends and involved everyone in a sing song! This was so much fun to capture, I encourage everyone to get your guests to sing along to your fave song!

Becca & Matt opted for it all to be in the courtyard of 100 Barrington which was the perfect setting! Nestled between the railway arches and the industrial building, I just want to move in!

Oh how confetti makes me happy!

All of my Butties know how much I love confetti photos. A confetti photo is all about the joy of your day. The smiles, the colours and the pure extravagance that confetti brings is why I love this so much!

Becca decided she wanted to incorporate her bridal squad colours into her confetti. When Becca asked for help choosing the colours, Christmas came early for moi! I think our choice of colours worked perfectly!

When your bridal squad are an autumnal rainbow, it was only fitting to come back to the rainbow mural for their group photos.

When couples think of group photos, most will probably cringe at the thought of standing there for hours on end with a false smile and a glazed over stare at the camera. This is not the case with me.

I always get the shot of you looking at the camera, parents tend to love this one. Most the time i’ll give you some fun prompts, get you to chat with each other and generally have a giggle. These photos, although curated, tend to be natural and capturing you having fun with your faves!

Becca & Matt opted to have the yummiest sharing platters for their guests to to tuck into. I love this idea as it’s less formal and so much more social for your guests. The food was the star of the tables, so Becca wanted to have a simple table decor and is there anything cuter than a cacti wedding favour?! Not only are they the cutest little gifts, but they also add a cute touch to your wedding tables! Good thinking Becca!

Becca’s mom and sister kicked off the speeches before everyone went into the main room for their meal.

Doing speeches outside is a photographers dream! For starters, the space at 100 Barrington is bloody gorgeous! But having everyone standing makes it more informal and engaging. So what should you take from this? More momma’s doing speeches please!!! And why not have your speeches during your drinks reception when you have gorgeous afternoon light and a chilled atmosphere?!

The remaining speeches from Becca, Matt and one of his best men were in the main room when everyone sat down. I loved how the spread the speeches out. Also it made for a great game of Play your cards right… yep a classic game show made an appearance at the wedding and it was so much fun to capture.

Had to add this one in the blog! A funny outfit change for the best man as he was doing his speech. Becca & Matt made an appearance on Bargain Hunt, nice little claim to fame, even if they were the losing team! haha

Would you believe this wedding cake was made by Becca’s mom and her partner?!

I love it when family and friends create beautiful elements of your wedding day. It’s always a real sentimental touch to your wedding day and is always amazing when they’re this talented!!!

The team at 100 Barrington kept the cake tucked away for Becca’s mom and gave her a little backstage area to finish getting the cake ready for this awesome moment!

Did you know that the bar team at 100 Barrington can make you signature cocktails? Did you also know they can make one for every guest at your wedding? Here’s your cue to have a bar full of signature cocktails at your wedding! Margaritas and Old Fashioned’s are a good choice too!

Oh Becca & Matt how I bloody love you for having the most gorgeous first dance at 100 Barrington!

With the most beautiful weather for an October day, I suggested to the couple to have their first dance outside whilst everyone was enjoying their cocktails in the summer evening vibes. Becca and Matt were so on board for this idea and the team at 100 Barrington were amazing at creating this for them.

It was the most perfect backdrop for their dance and honestly, it was one of the most beautiful first dances I have ever photographed! This idea also gave the team at 100 Barrington and the band time to set up and get the party vibes ready in the main room! So win for all!

Everything they planned was stuff they loved and they knew their guests wood love too! From the food choice, cocktails, music… everything was what they wanted! I always tell my couples to remember it’s their wedding day, so have it their way! And boy did Becca and Matt have the best wedding day at 100 Barrington!
