Saint Pauls House wedding, Birmingham - Christian & Hannah’s wedding day

[sings] WHATTA DAY, WHATTA DAY, WHATTA DAY, WHATTA BEAUTIFUL WEDDING DAY! To all the Salt-N-Pepa fans out there!

Yesterday I had the absolute honour of photographing Christian and Hannah gorgeous wedding at Saint Paul’s House, Birmingham. The sun was shining (yes, in September) the couple were GORGEOUS and the day was filled with so much love from their nearest and dearest!

Saint Pauls House is perfect for an intimate wedding

If you love Birmingham, love good food and drink, then Saint Paul’s House, Birmingham is the perfect wedding venue for you! Located in Jewellery Quarter (one of my fave places to hang out in Birmingham) Saint Paul’s House is tucked away on the beautiful square which is perfect for your couple portraits. With ample hotel rooms for you and your guests, this is perfect for your guests to drunkenly stumble back to their rooms after dancing the night away.

I DO

Christian and Hannah transported all their guests to the gorgeous city of Lichfield for their ceremony. We all know I love Lichfield and it’s a beautiful place to have your ceremony. Christian and Hannah had personal vows to say to one another and there wasn’t a dry eye in the room. The love they have for one another is clear for all to see! The ceremony was of course followed by an epic confetti walk (my fave) and then it was time for everyone to get the party started back at Saint Paul’s House.

Did I just capture one of my all time fave photos in Saint Pauls square, Birmingham???

Yes I bloody did! During couple portraits in the square just outside Saint Paul’s House, we spotted a lot of pigeons. During a little pause and a chat, the pigeons flew over us. I was gutted I missed this photo, but I spotted there were still loads of pigeons near us. My cheekiness came out and I asked a couple of strangers if they would help create an awesome photo for me. I asked them to run at the pigeons to get them to fly into my shot. They were totally up for it. So I gave the count down, 3,2,1… then BOOM! this happened! I was so happy and still am!

Not even an ocean can keep two families coming together for a wedding at Saint Pauls House, Birmingham

Christian and Hannah met in Chicago. Christian was on holiday with a friend. On a night out, Christian asked the taxi driver to stop as he spotted a bar he liked the look of. This was the bar that Christian was going to meet his future wife. That’s fate right there! Hearing Christian and Hannah’s friends speak of this relationship blossoming was beautiful and hilarious! Both Christian and Hannah’s parents spoke of the love between these two with such pride, that of course I cried! Saint Paul’s House was the perfect setting for Christian and Hannah’s reception.

let’s get the party started!

Grandma’s know how to get the parted! Well, Christian do anyway! Yes, above you’re witnessing one of my fave moments EVER! That’s grandma having a shot! You go girl! Saint Paul’s House, Birmingham is definitely a great venue for couple who love a good drink! Whether it’s a craft beer or a cocktail, Saint Paul’s House has got you covered! The private space was so cute, giving off holiday vibes, especially with the weather we had! When it was time to start the party, it was such a relaxed atmosphere.

WISH A LIFETIME OF HAPINESS TO CHRISTIAN & HANNAH

Helping Christian and Hannah have the most perfect wedding was an absolute honour for me. Capturing such a special day for such a wonderful couple in one of my favourite city’s was magical. With a true romance from the moment they met, I wish these two the happiest of futures together. No longer will they be flying over the Atlantic to be with one another. Now they finally get to be together forever!
